The last time I decided to do something different was around 17 months ago, when I thought about taking a 6 month sabbatical from everything else in my life and make games. That break never really happened and I moved on to more focused web design, ui, ux, drupal and so many other things. My plan to move to Delhi was to experiment with the possibilities of working together with some of my friends. OSSCube provided the opportunity to work together with some of them. Some of that resulted in nothing, while other efforts resulted in things like Indie Gamedev India, BYOGs and a whole lot of new connections.
Its been a different Delhi and a very nice 1.4 years well spent; no regrets. I’m happy and sad that I’m moving when things seem to have started happening again. New and old friends alike, I’m going to miss you all. My train for Bangalore leaves at around six in the morning today, and I have a bit of time to catch some sleep now ^_^
See you all soon with more updates ^_^ till then, stay happy <3
Better luck with those connections you wish to make in bangalore. Maybe most of us game devs are more introvert types & like sitting at home n sumtimes make sum games on our own n most of the times play the rest, rather than going out & actually meeting people like you did. And since sociable game devs like you are rare (atleast here in Delhi), I hope you would do a better job and reach out to them the next time around in bangalore (or maybe not). Tchao.
things seem to have started again..no regrets pls..
